After nearly two years of rapidly rising home costs, prices fell in January. In January, 2013, the median price of a new house in the Phoenix area was $260,000. In December, 2013, it had risen to $301,904. January, 2014 records the median sales price of a new home dropping to $290,795.

If you’re interested in a new home, it’s a great time to look!
